Eryn and Brian are the type of people that you just want to be around. Their personalities are infectious as is the love and laughter they share between one another. They were married yesterday at Kathryn Alberston Park and then had a luncheon at Le Cafe de Paris. Afterwards, it was on to the Hidden Springs Barn for their reception. Wind, cold, smoke, fires…just another wedding up in the Boise mountains! A gathering of Heather and Jon’s family and friends huddled up in blankets as they watched them get married at Bogus Basin this past weekend. Despite the cooler weather and the smoky air from nearby fires, everyone had a blast celebrating Heather and Jon’s union. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your memorable day! This weekend unexpectedly freed up so that Rachel and I could fly back to Wisconsin and attend the wedding of our good friends, Tony and Jena. It’s not often I get to attend a wedding where I don’t actually have to work! It felt kind of weird But I happened to bring my camera with me back to Milwaukee (not to the wedding) and was able to grab some shots of our friends Scott and Kara’s child, Ben. He is turning 1 year old on August 22nd. We battled the rain Friday evening and ended up walking around the Third Ward district of Milwaukee. Ben is sooooo adorable!! We all had a blast and then ate some amazing Mexican food at Habanero’s! Here are a few shots from the session.

This past weekend I had the pleasure of capturing Katie and Victor’s wedding. A couple that is undeniably in love, a super fun wedding party, and beautiful weather made it a spectacular day. Katie and Victor got married at the Cathedral of the Rockies and then moved on to the Grove Hotel for the reception. Thank you both for allowing me to be a part of your day. Sunday evening I spent some time with Stephanie, Dax, and their two horses, which was a first for me! They were a little stubborn at times – the horses not Stephanie and Dax – but it was a lot of fun incorporating them into the session. Can’t wait for their October wedding in McCall! Saturday I had the pleasure of capturing Julia and Joe’s wedding at Ste. Chapelle Winery. It was hot. Real hot. But despite the heat, we all had a great time and walked away with some awesome images. Not only was it hot, but later in the evening, we all got attacked by some pretty large junebugs on the dance floor! Well, maybe they weren’t exactly attacking us, but they were everywhere!
